Mercan Dede to perform at Brisbane Powerhouse

Accomplished Turkish musician Mercan Dede and Istanbul Quartet will perform at Brisbane Powerhouse on Wednesday, 23rd November 2011.

Mercan Dede, together with his trio of young Traditional Turkish musicians, Istanbul Quartet will give the audience the essence of Istanbul; the city of magic and dreams.

Accompanied by a spectacular whirling dervish dancer, these incredible musicians' unique energy will make souls soar.

The event is organized with assistance from PLANET ,the Brisbane Powerhouse dedicated world music and dance program and the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.
