Traditional folk music of Anatolia at Sydney Opera House

Sydney Opera House will be hosting an extravagant display of music and culture from Turkey on Sunday 15 April. Turkish-Australian soprano Ayse Goknur Shanal with a powerful ensemble including kemane player Ali Yildiz, baglama player Deniz Simsek and pianist Ashley Hribar will be performing lavish works from various parts of Turkey and Turkic diaspora including Mediterranean, Thracian, the Black Sea, central-Anatolian and Aegean as well as Kirkuk regions.

The show will run approximately 1 hour 45 minutes including interval.
