Sultan Kösen is world’s tallest man
A 27-years-old Turkish Sultan Kösen is world’s newly-crowned tallest man. The giant measures 251 cm.
His name will enter Guinness Book of Records for 2010, Associated Press reports.
The condition, known as “pituitary gigantism,” explains Kösen’s growth. He underwent surgery in 2008, after which it is expected his increase will stop. Whether the surgery has helped him or not is not reported.
