Galatasaray launches Football Academy in Melbourne

Galatasaray Football Academy of Australia became the first Turkish football academy in Australia. The Academy's technical staff all come from academic backgrouns with technical director Ufuk Kubilayhan holding UEFA- B, AFC -B, AFC -C, licenses. Head coach Ahmet Uyanik has played professional football in Turkey and holds a FFA coaching license.

The schools vision is indicated as "to provide a pathway for students to obtain a scholarship to play professional football for Galatasaray Sports Club". The Academy will be monitoring Australian soccer students from all aspects of professional footballer development; training,  academic support, nutrition, team management, behavior and communication.

Galatasaray Football Academy of Australia is based at FAWKNER LEASURE CENTER 79-83 Jukes Rd, Fawkner VIC 3060 MELBOURNE - AUSTRALIA
