Tabouleh (kisir)

Delicious tabouleh recipe - Traditional kisirTabouleh is a light and refreshing salad that can be eaten at anytime of the day. It is made with cracked wheat, fresh veggies, olive oil and traditional seasonings. It can be served with pita bread, or romaine lettuce for a fuller look or just simply with a fork. I personally suggest to taste as you go along in preparation for any other additional preferences.
Important:

Before adding fresh vegetables, be sure that they are thoroughly washed and drained.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup bulgur (Cracked Wheat)
2-3 Large Tomatoes (Diced)

1/4 cup finely chopped fresh mint
1 tsp dried mint
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper to taste
1/2 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 cup of lemon juice

Directions:

Rince then soak the bulgur in cold water for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Once soft, Squeeze out excess water from bulgur.
Combine all of the ingredients together, except for the Salt, Pepper, Olive oil, Lemon juice.
Mix ingredients thoroughly, and then line the serving bowl with romaine lettuce.
Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving for best taste.
Just before serving, add the rest of the remaining ingredients (Salt, pepper, Olive oil, Lemon
