Mustafa Yildizdogan concert in Melbourne
Prominent Turkish folk singer Mustafa Yildizdogan gave a concert in Melbourne Sunday evening. It is reported that around 500 fans attended the concert.
The concert was organized by Australian Ulkucu Turkish Federation. Representatives from European Turkish Federation, Hume Mayor Adem Atmaca, Melbourne Consul General Ibrahim Tumer and Bronwyn Halfpenny MP were among the guests.
Local singer Ibrahim Ceylan opened the concert with a few folk songs. After the national anthems of Australia and Turkey, the president of Australian Ulkucu Turkish Federation Emin Aydin Isci gave a short opening speech. Following a few more speeches from the guests and dance shows from Caucasian and Black sea regions, Mustafa Yildizdogan finally took stage.
